Case Study: Retail outfitters

Outfitters e-commerce website, client were a long established ladies and gents outfitters Brooks Shops who planned setting up an online presence and expand into a wider market.

Consultation

After the initial consultation we offered our studio product photography and a series of on location lifestyle photoshoots. The aim was to launch the website with a lifestyle look and links to the online shop to buy the items and associated apparel.

Aims

Long term the client would shoot their own items which allowed for fast social media presence and generate their own style also when purchasing new season lines would request studio images from their suppliers allowing them to launch new ranges quickly.

Solutions

We offered a photography package solution for retail and an ongoing plan to allow self sufficiency and image management. This gave them a fast track on the website launch based on the current stock items and give time to source supplier images.

Action plan

Studio

The client arranged a full days work load to maximise the studio time with over 100 items. With the shop stock being shipped to our studio along with shop staff who prepared all the items ready for photographing.

Shirt shoot

The setup allowed live viewing of the shot images where the direction and constancy where closely managed live on the day.

Items being presented in a continuous stream this was for the both the gents and ladies shoes, shirts, headwear, apparel and accessories followed.

Location

With a different approach the models were selected that suited the age group being targeted, as it was the initial launch a male mode and female model were hire along with a stylist and make up artist.

Deliverables

We supplied website ready images sized to the website developers specifications.
